Hey East Enders!!
MINI Durham will not be holding an official East Enders meet this month in order to prepare for MINI Meet North 2010 at Mosport from June 18-20!
East Enders are always welcome to drop by the dealership for a coffee, free carwash, special discounts on parts and accessories, as well as for some MINI chat!
Have a great month and look for more info about MINI Durham at MINI Meet North 2010 in the coming months!
Happy Motoring,

MINI Meet North Was a Success!
MINI Meet North, from June 19-21 at Mosport was a success!
On the Saturday of MINI Meet North, MINI Durham hosted a BBQ and show'n'shine. Unfortunately the rain created a change of plans, but we turned it into a competition for most unique and eye-catching MINI. Prizes were awarded to the proud owners and despite the wet weather, everyone had a great time. The MINI Challenge Targa Newfoundland race car was on display in the MINI Durham showroom. It created quite a stir and many were excited to be up-close and personal with such an exclusive car.
On Sunday, MINIs and Minis, old and new, joined together at Mosport for a Parade Lap around the legendary track. It was an amazing experience to drive amongst the Classic Minis with so much history. Afterwards, there was a photoshoot on the hill with all the MINIs and Minis present. The weather warmed up enough to give some of us sunburns and it turned into a great afternoon of MINIs, racing, and the great people who surround both of those things!
Photos that I took from the event are posted on Flickr.
Or, you can view the photos in a slideshow here: http://bighugelabs.com/slideshow.php?id=66154. Please note that the photos are copyright and aren't to be distributed without permission!! Thanks for your understanding!
Another write-up about the event on Confessions of a MINIac can be found here.
Happy Motoring and stay tuned for information about the July East Enders MINI Motoring Club meet (Thursday, July 16, 2009 from 7-9pm... however, there is a cruise in the works for the evening, so please make sure you read the updates when they are available!)
